REUNION

I've been thinking a lot about the past, because of the upcoming RGS 1979 reunion! Last night five of us from the old gang got together, brought together by the reunion website.

It was a great, non-stop talking time, as we went back to our old personalities and tried desperately to catch up on 30 years in 2 hours.

We remembered with great hilarity the quiet one, the short ones, the aggressive ones etc. We pondered what happened to the lively, wild ones and the sweet gentle ones too. The tomboys have become pretty family-types.

Who would have guessed all those years ago that we would end up like this, in different careers, with different challenges and lives?

A number of us have 16-year-olds who are exactly the same age we were 30 years' ago. Looking at my 16-year-old I remember what it was like back in school.
