I think it's time for a new focus for this blog. No, I am not changing the focus, just adding another aspect - nostalgia.
Originally I called this blog Mummy's tales because it was to be the musings and ramblings of a working mother, showing life from an older perspective (mine) as opposed to most blogs of that time (I started the blog about 3 years ago, when blogging was a teenage thing).
However, after reading Good Morning Yesterday, which is by an older blogger, I think my blog title fits in well with his perspective on blogging as well.
He is a strong believer in the older generation passing on their experience and stories of old Singapore. I think that is a great idea, and Mummy's tales could well fit that as well, this blog is a mother's recounting of the tales of her childhood and youth.
So my blog will have a dual focus, on the past and the present.
Coming up: my first nostalgia post: public buses.

Good to hear of another nostalgia blogger. For a while, I thot you have given up.
Looks like our numbers are growing. If you go to my blog, you will find links to a number of such blogs. Next month, I am invited again to help promote blogging to senior citizens. Maybe after that will have even more.
Looking forward to hearing some of your stories of yesteryears.
